The term “garden” might not be the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about a basketball arena. However, many famous basketball arenas are referred to as gardens, such as TD Garden, home of the Boston Celtics, and Madison Square Garden, home of the New York Knicks. But why are these arenas called gardens?
