Hi, my name is Jonathan Davis. I started this blog, basketballisgreat.com because of my long time love for basketball. Since the age of 8 years old (now thirty) I’ve followed the game every single year, and also have played since then as well.

I played competitively in high school in a small town in New Jersey, and have continued to play in leagues even as i’m getting up there in age.

I’ve grown to have other passions as well, but basketball will always be my first passion, and it is something that will be apart of me forever.

I’m dedicated to writing about all different types of topics when it comes to basketball including about players and many other aspects of the game.
